BECAUSE certain human behaviors are NOT appreciated by the dog

The dog is undoubtedly one of man’s best friends. Its most important characteristics are the ability to offer unconditional love and devotion to the master and the increased level of intelligence. The close relationship between man and dog dates back thousands of years: during this period the animal learned to adapt to man’s rhythm and successfully integrate into the family. Raising and training a dog requires a high investment of energy, financial resources and also responsibility. Before buying or adopting a dog it is necessary to study its psychology and evaluate its fundamental needs to be as prepared as possible to adapt it to the family environment.

The more we understand a dog’s psycho-emotional needs, the better we will understand its character and the better we will be able to decode the signals it transmits. The dog is an expressive animal and has the ability to establish a deep relationship with its owner. On the other hand cthe aine is an animal whose life rules and preferences differ from those of humans – this is why it is necessary to understand which human behaviors disturb our favorite animal the most and how they can influence it. However, dogs also tolerate what irritates them because they are loyal to their owner and need his attention and acceptance.

1. Argument and aggression

Dogs are animals and their instincts retain some wild characteristics. They will run around the house, tear down or break things, or make a mess. However, we must be aware that if we are being verbally or physically aggressive towards the animal will cause emotional suffering. He will not understand the verbal message, he will feel confusion, even fear.
The best way to avoid “accidents” is to be patient with the animal and use rewards. This way he will understand which behaviors are positive and which are negative. A caress or a reward in the form of food will stimulate the animal and bring it closer to its owner.

2. Lack of attention

Dogs don’t like it when they are deliberately ignored by their owners. They are animals that love the presence of people and love to socialize. The dog may feel neglected especially around the holidays, when parties or family gatherings are organised. In these situations you may be tempted to isolate the dog in a room or yard.

Dog training specialists recommend Let’s avoid it: the dog can get scared and even suffer. Instead, it is advisable to accustom the dog from puppyhood to being friendly with strangers or other animals. He will be more than happy to attend parties and be close to the owners and guests.

3. Forced socialization

All animals need a safe and comfortable space. We can observe it better in nature – all beings carry out their activities according to certain needs. There is a time for food, rest or socializing. In this sense it is necessary to understand the dog’s desires in terms of communication and he needs a quiet moment without external stimuli.
Like people, dogs have socialization preferences: they simply don’t want to get close to other dogs or animals. If the animal is aggressive towards another dog, respect it and avoid a future encounter.

4. Excessive cleaning and grooming

Dogs, like all animals, instinctively take care of satisfying their body’s needs, including those related to cleanliness. It has a special way of going to the toilet, while maintaining its olfactory imprint: this represents the way it communicates with other animals in the wild. Dogs have the ability to develop relationships with other animals through smell. They have a much more developed sense of smell than humans and perceive odors that are not accessible to humans.

A good immune system helps the animal adapt to the environment and develop protection against bacteria, viruses or parasites. Naturally, it develops precisely as a result of exposure to natural conditions and as a result of microorganisms existing in nature. Provide the animal with a hygienic and clean environment without exaggerating the use of detergents or excessive washing. This way you will help him enjoy a good immune system and the ability to communicate and socialize specifically with other animals.

5. Interruption of meals

The table is extremely important for a dog who prefers a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere when eating. Prepare a corner to give the animal a space where it can eat peacefully, without being disturbed by loud noises or the activity of family members. The dog I will appreciate it a lot if you make them available the entire food ration so that there is no need to interrupt the meal for any additions.

7. The same type of food
Have you ever thought that your non-verbal friend might get bored of the same kind of food? Well, even dogs feel the need to diversify their diet from time to time. If it is fed the same type of food, the animal will lose interest in food and will eat more out of necessity and not for pleasure.

From time to time, prepare a special menu for the animal, made up of his favorite ingredients and give him the freedom to enjoy it to the fullest. There is no need to periodically change its menu because dogs, unlike people, have simple preferences in terms of tastes. They have fewer olfactory receptors in their tongue and oral cavity, so their options are limited.
