It’s easy to notice what your cat likes, whether it’s food or toys. On the other hand, we must recognize that sometimes we do not have the ability to decode the signals in terms of unpleasantness.
To better understand the animal around you, we aimed to present you with a series of things that cats don’t like:
1. Travel by car and travel
This is one of the most unpleasant experiences for a cat for several reasons. Cats don’t like driving because it interrupts their daily routine at home. First of all, it is unknown territory and the cat perceives it as a danger, where a potential predator can hide. This is an ancestral instinct, inherited from his ancestors who lived in the wild. You will notice that he always maintains a hesitant attitude when interacting with a new object or an unfamiliar person.

The movement of the car and the noise are other elements that the feline hates, and rightly so: they demonstrate such sensitivity to driving that it can vomit or feel confused.
If there is an urgent need to transport the cat, it is necessary to feed it with gasoline before taking delivery of the animal: it deeply hates the smell of gasoline. If you take your cat to the vet, provide him with a familiar environment: use a cage and mat that he is familiar with. This way you will help the feline feel comfortable during car trips.
2. Touching the abdomen
Both dogs and cats have some sensitive areas of the body. Unlike the dog, the cat does not like having its abdomen touched. This also has an explanation: the stomach area is extremely vulnerable and the cat will always have a tendency to protect itself from an attack by an attacker. You may have noticed that when you intend to caress her abdomen, she shows a defensive reaction, may attack and bite. This is simply a natural reflex. Therefore, offer protection to the cat and respect its need to protect itself.
3. Lack of habits and daily routine
Routine is important for the cat because the animal is very sensitive when it comes to change. Any appearance or disappearance of a person or object requires additional effort from the cat. He will have to explore his surroundings and reconfigure his territory.
The cat always likes to have control over the environment and any change, no matter how small, disturbs its emotional balance. If you want to renovate your house or move furniture, take care to prepare the animal for these changes in territory.
4. Toys and balloons
Did you know that cats feel vulnerable when they have to deal with external danger? She will feel stressed, which will lead to aggressive manifestations. For example, the cat perceives a balloon as a threat that it must eliminate. Therefore, toys or balloons are perceived as dangers that must be destroyed.
The cat may display this attitude when interacting with a mouse or an insect. If he witnesses a hot air balloon show, the cat becomes extremely agitated because he has no control over their movements. We must understand that these are natural behaviors and are part of the survival instinct. Any potential danger must be eliminated.
5. Clothes and photos
The cat is an adorable and very expressive animal. Nowadays we have ready access to the camera or video, so we are tempted to “use” the animal as a model. One aspect must be taken into account and that is that the cat does not like to pose or be dressed in various clothes or accessories.

The animal may become stressed or develop anxiety if it is repeatedly subjected to photographic or video sessions. You can spontaneously capture the animal in funny positions and photograph/film it.
6. Brushing
The cat is an extremely clean animal. Dedicate part of the day to the ritual of body care and cleansing. Therefore, any human intervention is rejected when it comes to going to the toilet. There are many pictures of cats showing different reactions when it comes to bathing or brushing. It will be extremely difficult, perhaps impossible, to train an adult cat, with already developed habits, to accept human intervention. Observe the cat’s attitude when it comes to grooming and respect his wishes. In general, cats are independent, capricious and difficult to train animals.
7. Aggression
Sometimes the cat can seem like a ferocious predator. This is the time when he faces potential dangers and needs to show his survival instincts. In reality, however, this animal is eager for love, affection and caresses from you. Sudden, sudden movements or aggressive petting cause discomfort to the cat and he reacts by scratching or biting himself. When you irritate the cat, it will instinctively show a response to the aggressive stimulus coming from outside.

Make sure the cat has a comfortable environment. Tasty food, fresh water and a warm bed will help your pet feel relaxed and loved. In return you will receive affection, peace and tranquility.
